Vikas Khanna, the host of MasterChef India Season 2 and 3, just launched his next book, MasterChef India Cookbook and sent the first copy to the White House for his friend, President Barack Obama.
What timing we must say, as President Obama is coming to India for the Republic Day celebration and the book proves to be a welcome gift from the master-chef.
That’s not all. Vikas has also sent a copy of the book to his mother in Amritsar to be offered at the Golden Temple.
MasterChef India Cookbook is based on Vikas’ experiences and journey through MasterChef India.
The tryst, he says, has been a special one for him as it gave him a chance to return to India after living in the US for more than 10 years. He has hosted the show for three seasons and he feels the book has some of the best recipes by the show’s contestants across its three seasons. The book was his way of sharing that culinary brilliance with the world.
