A section of the media went overboard while reporting actress Anjali’s visit to a local pub on Friday night where she allegedly created a ruckus.
Apparently the reason for the media’s tirade against her was because Anjali refused to pose for photographers at the pub and there were even reports that the pub management had to call the police to intervene.
The beleaguered actress, who has been embroiled in a lot of controversies earlier and had also ran away from home due to family problems, tells DC exactly what took place.
“I returned to Hyderabad a couple of days back after a hectic schedule from abroad. On Friday evening at around 9 pm, I went to the Tabla restaurant with my friends. I saw a few photographers and when they wanted to take my photo I politely refused and told them that this was a private party.
“In the restaurant I ordered fruit juice. Within five minutes I heard the news that the news with the tagline: Anjali Liquids lo hulchul… was being flashed on local TV channels. This is baseless and completely false. My two friends came with their husbands and I came alone. How can the media say that I came with my boyfriend? I left within 15 minutes though my friend wanted me to come with her to Liquids next door, for her cake cutting.
“I got into controversies in the past and everyone still wants to link me with those incidents. I am at present concentrating on my career and there are exciting projects coming up.
“I don’t know who complained and why cops came.
Srinivas Reddy, the manager of Liquids also clarified that the actress didn’t misbehave with anyone.
