Hyderabad's Raj Bhavan BSNL telephone exchange hacked
Officials said that EPABX telephone system was installed in Governor's office
Hyderabad: The telephone system at the Raj Bhavan was hacked by unidentified persons who made international calls worth more than Rs 38,000. The misuse was detected by BSNL last week, following which Raj Bhavan officials filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police Station.
Officials said that the EPABX telephone system was installed in the office of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan. “The misuse was detected by BSNL within a day and we immediately lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Station in CID,” said Raj Bhavan officials.
