Telugu cinema’s comic legend, M.S. Narayana, is in a critical condition and has been admitted in a private hospital in Kondapur. The veteran has been in care for the past few days.
But on Thursday morning, TV channels across the two states ran ‘breaking news’ tickers claiming Narayana had passed away. Furious relatives including the actor’s son and daughter soon called a press conference and slammed the reports. It was only then that the channels changed their reports, to say Narayana was only critical.
“I don’t know why they fabricate news. We are at the hospital and we’re watching our father continuously. They can at least ask us before they telecast such news,” said Sasikiran Narayana, daughter of M.S. Narayana.
On Thursday, Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh, Thammareddy Bharadwaj, Srinivas Reddy and other Tollywood personalities visited the hospital and even spoke to Narayana.
