Rumoured: Microsoft may also unveil a Windows 10 phone-laptop-hybrid
Microsoft is gearing up for ‘The Next Chapter’ event that will be held at 10.30 IST on January 21, 2015. The tech giant will introduce additional features for Windows 10 and other interesting products.
A report on SoftPedia revealed that Microsoft could introduce a Windows 10 Phone-cum-laptop or an upgraded Windows 10 Operating System for its handsets. There are also rumors that the Windows 10 Phone will introduce the phone-laptop-hybrid system concept, with a modern user interface, targeting the business class as a whole.
Recent media reports also state that Microsoft may unveil a new Windows App Store. The Windows App Store may no more be divided into Windows Phone Store and Windows Store but instead be available on a single platform. The common platform of Windows App Store is expected to feature the Office 365.
The homepage of Lumia 532 handset also carries a notification stating ‘Windows 10 ready’, which hints at the arrival of Windows 10 OS on the handset soon.
