Using WhatsApp Plus? Face a ban from WhatsApp
Make sure you are using WhatsApp app and not the WhatsApp Plus – which is a third -party app and may corrupt your system. WhatsApp has started sending a ‘temporary ban’ message to the users of WhatsApp Plus. We want to notify our readers that WhatsApp Plus app is not an authorized by WhatsApp.
The tech giant has also taken the initiative of releasing a warning letter to its users ‘Please be aware that WhatsApp Plus contains source code which WhatsApp cannot guarantee as safe and that your private information is potentially being passed to third parties without your knowledge or authorization.’

The official website of WhatsApp has issued a notice to its users stating, ‘If we suspect that your account activity constitutes an abuse of our system, your account will be temporarily banned from using WhatsApp. You will receive a warning message in the app that contains the duration of this temporary ban.’ Media reports also state that the developers at WhatsApp are asking Individuals to uninstall ‘WhatsApp Plus’ app.
WhatsApp is monitoring its servers minutely and are banning the accounts that have violated the terms and conditions. ‘We ban accounts if we believe the account activity is in violation of our Terms of Service,’ a post on the official website of WhatsApp
If you are one of those who have received the message,‘ Your number is no longer allowed to use our service’ from WhatsApp, it means your WhatsApp has been banned for 24 hours.
Here are some of the reasons for the ban:
- Sending ads or spam messages
- Submitting content that is unlawful, obscene, threatening or ethnically offensive
- Sending too many messages to users who do not list you in their address books. Make sure that you ask all of your WhatsApp contacts to add your current number to their address books.
- Being blocked by too many people in a short period of time.
- 72 hours after your account has been banned, your friends will no longer be able to see you in their Favorites / Select contact lists.
