Hyderabad: The developers are  coming up with large cultural centres for art to woo more customers for their realty projects.

Vijayawada, which is mostly covered in farms, would have a cultural centre on par with Shilparamam as in Hyderabad. Malaxmi group that is developing high-end housing ventures is also setting up the  Cultural Centre of Vijayawada .

“Vijayawada was once synonymous to the rich culture. But, most of the population settled in Hyderabad or abroad, which degenerated the tradition.

However, now with people coming to Vijayawada from across the country, the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada would be able to restore the lost glory of Vijayawada.

CVV will  encourage fine arts and other art forms, establishing art gallery and other platforms,” said Y. Harish Chandra Prasad, chairman, Malaxmi group.
