Rivals from Khammam share stage

Khammam: Officials in Khammam district were in for a surprise on Monday when political rivals, minister for roads and buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao and parliamentary secretary Jalagam Venkata Rao, shared the dais. They reviewed various government schemes being implemented in the state. It is the first time that the duo visited the district on a single day after assuming office.

The duo switched loyalties from the TD and Congress respectively and joined the ruling TRS, a few months ago.

Though they joined the same party, differences continued between the two leaders which deepened further after they assumed offices.
