Mumbai: A young couple found in a secluded area in a village in Maharashtra was beaten relentlessly by a group of six men.
The ordeal went on for nearly five minutes when the woman was thrown on the ground beaten mercilessly by men belong to a group called ‘Ganimi Kawa' which means "Guerilla Warfare" and claim the right to moral policing.
The men also took a video of her on their phone and circulated on WhatsApp to shame her in the village.
The video was first found in local media and was reported to the police on Thursday.
Three of the six men have been arrested while the other three are still missing.
