Xiaomi unveils two more, very powerful 4G Note phablets
Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced two phablets with powerful chipsets. The Chinese tech giant has unveiled the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro, both sporting high-end hardware, with metal frames.
The Xiaomi Mi Note features a 5.7inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and protected with a Corning gorilla Glass 3 panel. The chassis is made of a metal frame to join the rugged handset trend in the market. Encased within the chassis is a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset (quad-core 2.5GHz) with an Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Mi Note also sports a 13MP primary camera by Sony (with a Philips two-tone flash) and clubbed with a 4MP front-facing camera. The Mi Note features dual 4G SIM (one micro and one nano) and is powered by a 3000mAh battery. The Mi Note is available in 16GB and 64GB variants, priced at 2299 Yuan (approx Rs 23,000) and 2799 Yuan (approx Rs 28,000) respectively.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, on the other hand, is even more powerful than the Mi Note. The Mi Note Pro sports a 5.7-inch 2K display with a 1440x2560 resolution. Below the hood lies a powerful Snapdragon 810 64-bit 8-core chipset with an Adreno 430 graphics processor and 4GB of RAM. The internal storage is 64GB and the handset is priced at 3299 Yuan (approx Rs 33,000).
The products are presently only unveiled in China and will be available online on their company website. There is no information about the availability of these handsets in India as yet, but we can expect Xiaomi to debut the phablets in the country soon.
