Police said that the accused is absconding

Nizamabad: An 8-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Chimanpally village in Sirikonda mandal on Wednesday.
According to the police, Challa Raju, a coolie, lured the girl and took her to an isolated place. He, allegedly sexually assaulted the girl.
The victim informed her parents following which, a complaint was lodged.
A case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Sirikonda police sub-inspector B. Shanker Naik said that the accused is absconding.
The victim was sent to medical tests to Government General Hospital in Nizamabad.
