Telangana freezes Andhra Pradesh account, slams Ganta Srinivasa Rao
The AP government received a communication from the Bank asking for clarification
Visakhapatnam: AP education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao accused the TS government for freezing APSCHE’s account of '120 crore in Andhra Bank.
The Telangana government had allegedly requested the CMD of the Andhra Bank to freeze the account of the Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council. The AP government received a communication from the Bank asking for clarification, Mr Rao said.
“Till date, the Telangana State Council for Higher Education is not recognised and the direction is against the AP Reorganisation Act,” said Mr Rao adding the Eamcet exams would be conducted as per the schedule.
