Hyderabad: Cold wave conditions are prevailing over all districts of Telangana. In Guntur, West Godavari and Krishna district of coastal Andhra Pradesh, there is a cold wave warning.
Experts state that all districts in Telangana and also in Guntur, West Godavari and Krishna in AP will witness dry weather and it will continue for the next three days. The minimum expected may be 8ºC in Hyderabad.
The dry cold winds are responsible for the dip at night and rise in mercury levels in the morning. Hyderabad is receiving more solar radiation.
Due to clear skies, the day temperature is staying above normal by 1ºC to 2ºC. The lowest temperature Hyderabad ever witnessed was 6.1ºC on January 8, 1946, followed by 7.4ºC on November 26, 1964. January 2015 is likely to be the coldest month,” Mr Rao added.
