New play claims Princess Diana was pregnant at time of her death
London: Princess Diana was reportedly pregnant on the night she dies, as claimed by a controversial West End play.
The play is expected to revive the claims that that the Princess of Wales was pregnant with "a Muslim baby" when she died in a Paris car crash alongside lover Dodi Fayed in 1997, the Mirror reported.
Writer and director of the play Jon Conway, who also appears in the production, said that according to him it's important that the public is able to hear the whole story.
Conway said that the testimony was passed to him by a British forensic officer known as Rose, the former partner of a doctor at the Pitie-Salpetriere hospital where Diana was declared dead on August 31 1997.
The play includes allegations by Diana's former lover James Hewitt that she found out about Prince Charles's affair with Camilla Parker Bowles days before their wedding in 1981 and wanted to call it off.
Royal biographer Hugo Vickers said that if one talk to certain people one will get a version of events these people are keen to peddle as they have an agenda of their own.
