Vijayawada: The Telugu version of the Olympian boxer Mary Kom’s biography entitled Abhedyam was released on the premises of the ongoing 26th Vijayawada Book Festival here on Friday.
Veteran journalist C. Raghavchari released the book which was translated from English by Damera Venkata Surya Rao. Later, Chinuku Rajagopal, Dr Sasri and Dr Gumma Sambasiva Rao reviewd the book and appreciated the spirit that offers to the readers.
Subrato Bagchoi’s Prapanchanni Jayinchu and Vrutti Dharmilkudu were also released in this function. They were also reviewed by eminent literary personalities.
Meanwhile, a seminar on Telugu short story will be held in the office of the Vijayawada Book Festival Society here on Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon. Several popular Telugu writers will participate in the programme.
