ANANTAPUR: Film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna arrived at Hindupur on Thursday and interacted with the mishap victims at district area hospital in Hindupur.
There were about 40 passengers, mainly students, who had suffered serious injuries when the RTC bus had fallen into the gorge near Penukonda on Wednesday.
Balakrishna rushed to the hospital and interacted with all the victims, enquired of their condition. Parents of the students informed Balakrishna about the poor transport facility to Penukonda.
The MLA assured proper medical care and said government would take all necessary steps. He mourned for the death of 15 persons.
