It looks like producer Dil Raju’s search for a female lead for his film Kerintha is over and Sri Divya will play the female lead.
According to a source, Dil Raju assessed many girls and finally zeroed in on Sri Divya. Sumanth Ashwin is playing the main lead in the movie and a few other young actors are playing different roles.
Though Sri Divya’s character is not a lengthy one, but the actress is reportedly charging Rs 25 lakh as remuneration.
According to a source, the producer agreed to pay the amount as she is in demand in Kollywood. Dil Raju wanted to introduce a new face with this character, but the right person could not be found. Hopefully, the choice of Sri Divya is final. The actress has also signed another Telugu film opposite Nani, directed by Maruthi.
