2-member bench of the apex court heard Pak government’s plea against HC’s verdict
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Supreme Court on Wednesday nullified the Islamabad High Court’s decision to suspend Mumbai terror attack mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi’s detention.
A two-member bench of the apex court heard Pak government’s plea against HC’s verdict. During the proceedings, the SC said that the High Court decided to suspend Lakhvi’s detention in “haste”.
Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court, conducting the trial of seven accused in the Mumbai attack case, including Lakhvi, adjourned the hearing till January 14 on Wednesday.
