Varun Tej is happy as his debut film Mukunda is doing well and he has received a fair amount of appreciation for it. “My journey started with Srikanth Addala and the film has received a good response and I am happy with it,” says Varun Tej.

When asked about his father’s reaction to his acting he says, “My father saw the film and pointed out a few mistakes. But he is happy about my performance and appreciated the film,” says Varun Tej.

He added that his uncle Chiranjeevi too saw the movie. “He told me that it is a perfect film for a debutant. He lauded the film and told me to put in more hard work. He says that my performance is good for a debutant,” says Varun Tej.

The actor is now gearing up for his next film. Two directors Puri Jagannath and Krish Jagarlamudi have scripts ready for him and Varun Tej says that it’s not been decided yet which film will start first.
