Kodak unveils its first Android handset with 13MP high-end camera

Users can upgrade the OS of Kodak IM5 up to Android 5.0 Lollipop

Kodak has entered the smartphone market by introducing its first Android device - Kodak IM5.

Kodak IM5 features a 5-inch full HD display, is powered by a 1.7Ghz octa-core processor and will run on the Android KitKat operating. However, the company claims that Kodak users will be able to upgrade the OS to Android 5.0 Lollipop later.

Kodak IM5 offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage capacity, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD. The 13MP auto-focus primary camera comes with a image management software and 5MP front-facing camera.

The IM5 device will be available only in two colours - white and black. Kodak IM5 will first be available in Europe.
