Visakhapatnam: Sai Ram, a 35-year-old auto driver from Vizag has become an overnight celebrity due to his love and dedication for rock music.
India’s Got Talent, a popular reality talent show on television called up Deccan Chronicle office to get the contact details of Sai Ram after he was featured in a special story in DC.
The 35-year-old would be getting to perform in front of the judges directly for the auditions. His fame was not limited to just the television talent show but executive members of many crowdfunding platforms, music directors, photographers and even short film makers also contacted DC for getting Sai Ram’s contact. The excitement to meet this overnight celebrity also spread to the city folks as many Vizagites asked DC for his contact so that they could take a ride in Sai Ram’s auto.

Sai Ram said, “I had always wanted to take part in the reality show but somehow had lost hope of it and started hoping that at least my son would one day get to take part in the show. Thanks to Deccan Chronicle, my dream has come true.”
He also thanked his wife as he added, “I do not know to read and write and I believe that my wife is my gift from God. Today I have six guitars, a Yamaha keyboard and a drum kit and all of this was possible only because of my wife.”
