North Bengal development Minister Goutam Dev claimed that Roy had lodged a police complaint naming some persons three days back against alleged sale of contraband in the city.
Siliguri (WB): Body of a local Trinamool activist, who had protested against sale of contraband in the area, was found in the outskirts of Siliguri on Monday triggering protest by a mob and arrest of three accused.
“We have arrested three persons in connection with the death of Dipankar Roy on the basis of FIR lodged by his family,” police said.
