Salman Khan gives a nod to 'Bodyguard' sequel?

If all goes well brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri is most likely to start the film this year

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan is working round the clock 24x7. Salman who is busy shooting for 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' simultaneously has his hands full and has had to opt out of Big Boss owing to his busy schedule. But according to a report in Hindustan Times, the actor has apparently agreed to star in the sequel to his 2011 hit 'Bodyguard'. The film was produced by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and paired Kareena Kapoor opposite Salman.

"The plans plans for a sequel have been on for some time now. But the makers couldn't finalise the script. But now, a script has been found, which has also got a nod frmo Salman. But it's still not clear when the film will go on floors. Salman has a number of commitments to take care of in the coming months. But the sequel is set to take off soon," a source was quoted.

Speculations surrounding the sequel to the blockbuster Bodyguard have been doing rounds for a while. He is committed to Karan Malhotra's Shuddhi, in talks for the sequel to Anees Bazmee's 'No Entry', Mahesh Manjrekar-directed remake of a Marathi film and Aditya Chopra's next production 'Sultan' directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
