Amitabh Bachchan has joined the crusade against piracy. The veteran actor along with his Shamitabh director R. Balki decided to not release the songs of their film on YouTube or other websites.
He will, release the first song of Shamitabh on his personal Twitter account. All those who want to listen to the song will have to do so on Big B’s Twitter page only.
A source tells us that this was the senior Bachchan’s idea. “The film industry has been battling piracy for years now, and we hope that others will follow Mr Bachchan’s footsteps and help curb piracy by not releasing songs on music websites.
The idea is to not depend on them for viewing and downloading of film songs,” adds the source close to the film’s director. Apparently actors like Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar too are convinced about the strategy.
