Wriddhiman Saha to play in Sydney Test?
Mumbai: As India sans MS Dhoni is looking to end the Test series against Australia on a high, Wriddhiman Saha might get lucky with his inclusion in the team.
According to sources, the 31-year-old Saha is almost certain to play his fourth Test beginning in Sydney from Tuesday.
"Saha has recovered from injury and is absolutely fine. Hopefully he will be playing the Test tomorrow,” Saha’s wife, Romi Mitra, told Deccan Chronicle.
Incidentally, Saha’s wife Romi and daughter Anvi have not travelled to Australia for the series.
"Wriddhi considers himself to be a junior player and the Indian cricket board has some issues with WAGs travelling with the team, therefore he didn't want to take a chance,” a sources close to the family said.
"Wriddhi had a right hand injury but it is not serious now. We see every reason for him to play tomorrow. Will get up early morning to see him in the team,” the source added.
