Bengaluru: Mr Pralhad Joshi, the BJP’s state president has a big responsibility resting on his shoulders after party boss Amit Shah set a 1 crore target for the state’s membership campaign.
Making one of every six Karnataka residents a BJP member is no mean task but Mr Joshi, considered a non-controversial and clean politician, is confident he will not disappoint Mr Shah.
Asked why the campaigns against the state government have not had the desired impact, he admits in an interview to Deccan Chronicle that Mr Siddaramaiah and his ministers are too ‘thick skinned’ for the propaganda war the BJP has launched on issues like the Arkavathy denotification scam and the issue of tainted ministers.
