Islamabad: A Pakistani Inquiry Commission on Saturday completed the process of vote recount and record review in NA-122 constituency in Lahore where PIT chief Imran Khan claimed that sitting Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, won through rigging against him in 2013.
“The report would be submitted to the tribunal in next week. The recounting process has been completed. According to recount, Ayaz Sadiq is still wins,” said an official. Ayaz Sadiq’s total vote count exceeded by 134 mounting his votes to 9,006 from 8,872 after record of 284 polling stations was verified.
