CM’s son evaluates performance of MLAs

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘MLAs’ Day’ is used by the leadership to promote Nara Lokesh, the CM’s son, within the party.

At a recent TDLP meeting, Mr Naidu had assured the party MLAs that from January onwards, on every Saturday he would meet MLAs at the Lake View guest house to know their problems.

Accordingly, on Saturday, the Chief Minister met the MLAs. Mr Lokesh had also came to Lake View guest house along with his father and he too held an one-on-one meeting with MLAs separately.

For the first time, Mr Lokesh participated in an official meeting to discuss the co-ordination between the government and party.

Around 25 MLAs and MPs met Mr Naidu and later had a word with Mr Lokesh. The CM and his son occupied separate rooms in the guest house.

Mr Naidu asked the MLAs about the problems in constituencies and received representations from them. He also directed his peshi officials to take action and solve some of the problems immediately.
