Gauahar made headlines when she was recently slapped by a member of reality show audience
The police have detained Akil Mallik, 24 for physically attacking the actress. A case of molestation has been registered under section 354 and Mallik will be produced in Borivali court today. According to the police, Mallik walked up to the stage,
New Delhi: Gauahar Khan has denied the allegations that she paid Akil Mallik to slap her during a show recording a few weeks ago. The model-turned-actress said that the claim that Akil Malik has made is bogus, a leading daily reported. In an interview earlier, Malik had claimed that he was paid by Gauahar to slap her to gain publicity. He also said that she had offered him a role in 'Dabbang 3'.
Khan also told the daily, "What this man is claiming is a clear attempt to get away from the heinous crime he committed. It's absolutely bogus and a very poorly staged and filmi story. I have never in my life met this man before I saw him charging at me on India's Raw Star finale."
'Bigg Boss 7' winner was slapped on stage of a reality show finale. B-Town came out in her support and many took to Twitter to express their outrage over the issue.
