Telangana government has sought allotment of GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar, principal secretary of agriculture department, Poonam Malakondaiah, principal secretary of TSIIC, Jayesh Ranjan and Nizamabad collector Ronald Ross to TS, who were recently allotted to Andhra Pradesh cadre by the Centre.
On the other hand, the AP government has sought allotment of senior IAS officers Ajay Jain and Ajay Sawhney to Andhra Pradesh, who were allotted to TS cadre.
Both the governments have urged the Centre to send these officers to the respective states on deputation.
However, the Centre is yet to take a final decision on the issue.
Meanwhile, the Telangana IAS officers have sought crucial postings in the upcoming reshuffling of officers.
The officers decided to meet Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in a day or two and bring it to his notice how they were sidelined by consecutive governments in the undivided state and justice should be done to them in Telangana State.
Telangana IAS officers met on Thursday and discussed on the issue. The officers have decided to draft a report to be submitted to Mr Rao explaining how some officers, despite seniority, were kept in the loop for years and allotted insignificant portfolios in undivided state.
They sough appointment of Telangana IAS offices for crucial departments like revenue, excise, commercial taxes, industries, power etc.
