Mumbai: Central and Harbour suburban train serivces resumed after 6 hours
Mumbai: Train services in Mumbai resumed after six hours of a harrowing time on Friday morning.
Trouble started when an angry mob protested against delay in trains during the morning rush hour when an overhead wire broke near Diva station between Thane and Kalyan.
Although train services have now resumed, it will be sometime before the backlog created by the disruption is cleared.

The worst affected were the Thane, Kalyan and Dombvili stations where a large number of commuters board the locals to reach
their offices.
Police had to resort to lathicharge to quell the irate mob.
Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a high level probe into the disruption and said that he has discussed the matter with Union Railway minister Suresh Prabhu.
