Watch: A surprisingly light-hearted number ‘Daak Ticket’ from ‘Hawaizaada’

The track by Mohit Chauhan showcases the beautiful bond between Ayushmann and Mithun

Mumbai: After creating a stir with a powerful trailer, makers of 'Hawaizaada' released its first song today. With barely a month to go for the film to hit the theaters, it has managed to grab a lot of eyeballs.

The film starring Ayushmann Khuranna's is based on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is said to have built India's first unmanned aeroplane. One might expect some serious tracks going by the subject it revolves on. But 'Daak Ticket' surprises us with its quirky lyrics and amazing background score. The number sung by Mohit Chauhan and Javed Bashir has music scored by Rochak Kohli. The beautiful lyrics have been penned down by Vibhu Puri.

The song showcases a beautiful bond shared between Ayushmann and his mentor Mithun Chakraborty. It takes you through their journey of conceptualizing an airplane and putting in efforts to make their dream come true.

An interesting fact is, Ayushmann has composed and sung the popular ghazal of Mirza Galib titled ‘Dil-E-Nadaan’ for the film and he has been credited as the music director of the same.
