Bengaluru: The priority of the city police have now been turned towards ensuring smooth movement of New Year festivities without any eventualities or mischief mongering rather than cracking the Church street blast case.
While the special investigation teams are continuing to probe the Church Street blast in multiple angles, dispatching different teams to different regions in the city, state and neighbouring states, it has been 84 hours into the blast and yet there is no breakthrough. Nobody has so far been detained or arrested.
Though sources from the police claimed that they have found similarities of the 28/12 blast with Pune and Chennai blasts, and they were probing deeper into it, they have specifically not come across anybody with serious involvement with the crime to arrest.
