Andhra Pradesh to get status of member on Eamcet
The APSCHE will become insignificant in the conduct of Eamcet

Hyderabad: It is important to note here that the AP government official, serving on the admissions committee, will only be a “member” of the committee and not a co-convenor as was the case earlier this year for Eamcet 2014.
The key posts of chairman (TSCHE chairman) and convenor will be from the TS government. Also, the APSCHE will become insignificant in the conduct of Eamcet though it was the competent authority for the last Eamcet held in the combined state. The order has not yet been sent to APSCHE.
Ironically, APSCHE had issued a common schedule for Eamcet 2015 on Monday claiming it was the competent authority and not TSCHE.
The AP government can either agree to a common Eamcet under the TS government or break away and conduct its own Eamcet.
AP HRD Minister Mr Ganta Srinivasa Rao couldn’t be reached for his comments. But speaking to reporters earlier in the day, he had said that the AP government wouldn’t hesitate to go two steps back for the sake of students.
