Meet Tornado 348, the slimmest smartphone yet
Gionee Elife 5.1 pushed itself into the limelight with the slimmest smartphone at 5.15 mm, after Oppr’s R5. However, here is another entrant which is as slim as the Gionee Elife 5.1—the Kazam Tornado 348.
Kazam claims that Tornado is the slimmest smartphone in the world with a 5.15 mm slim chassis and just 95.5 grams light. Kazam also claims that the Tornado 348 is registered as the slimmest phone in the world in the Guinness book in 2014.
The device boasts of a 4.8-inch AMOLED display and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. It is powered by a MT6592 chipset, buzzing with eight cores clocked at 1.7GHz each. The smartphone also holds an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera. With 16GB internal storage, the Tornado 348 runs on Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Kazam offers the Tornado 348 for a price of Rs 25,000 ($386) and comes along with a free display replacement and a three-year warranty period. Additionally, Kazam offers 70% remote support—their agents can remotely access your smartphone to fix issues and problems when you need them to.
