Xiaomi, the fastest growing smartphone manufacturer from China, not only manufactures smartphones, but also has a few other products in its portfolio. The Chinese tech giant is also known to for retailing tablets, portable chargers, routers, televisions, TV boxes, and many more devices and gadgets.
Reports from various sources have been stating that Xiaomi is in the process of working on a new notebook and recently, Gizmochina spotted Xiaomi’s Mi notebook cropping up online.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook pictures revealed that the new laptop from the Chinese manufacturer looks identical to an Apple Macbook Air. The silver shell features with a bright orange Mi logo on the rear and front.
Along with the photos, the source also leaked out the specifications for the notebook. The Mi notebook is said to be built using an Intel i7-4500u processor with 2 x 8GB dial-channel RAM. The notebook will sport a 15-inch full HD display and will run Linux as the operating system. There is no present information about the internal storage or the battery as yet. But more information and leaks will soon bring the entire specifications to light. The notebook is said to be crowned with a pricetag of $481, which is approximately around Rs 29,000. If true, the Mi notebook will definitely be a worthy product to own.
