Terror or maths, Veerappa Moily has a view

The present government will study the issue and take an appropriate stand

Mysuru: The state government will take an appropriate stand on the proposed amendment to the Math bill proposed by the state government after properly contemplating on it, said, former Union Minister and MP Dr Veerappa Moily, here on Monday.

Answering a query by media persons, Mr Moily who participated in Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s birth anniversary celebrations in Mysuru, said, the BJP-JDS coalition government in 2006-07 had given an undertaking to the Supreme Court, stating that they would bring an amendment to the law as early as in 2007 itself.

However the present government will study the issue and take an appropriate stand, he said.
