Mumbai: Change of equations and camps can have a huge impact on the professional life of a film personality. The ones who were touted as best buddies can come to a point where they have to give each other the cold shoulder. It can happen the other way round also.
Priyanka Chopra might not have been on the guest list of the Christmas party hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri at Mannat but her larger-than-life appearance at Salman Khan’s birthday bash was evident in more ways than one.
Not many A-lister heroines were invited to the party and PC was among the select few at the bash that was held on December 26.
Despite her busy schedule, the actress managed to make it to Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel in time to bring in Salman’s birthday. After their alleged fall-out, Salman and Priyanka had mended fences, especially after his sister Arpita intervened and played a peacemaker. PC’s presence at Arpita’s wedding and at this bash has re-established her strong bond with this Khan and his family.
Besides her, Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan were also invited. “Apparently, PC wished Salman by singing a song for him. Salman was visibly touched by her impromptu act. Also, PC was seen bonding better with his sisters. Her warmth towards Salman’s family stole the show,” says an eyewitness.
Salman had requested his guests to refrain from taking videos of the candid moments at his party. Last month, PC had read out a letter penned by Arpita for her brothers Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail at her wedding. This time too she left no stones unturned to bond with the Khans.
