Leeba was tortured by nearly 10 cops in police custody
Leeba has identified former Cheranellor sub-inspector E. S. Samson, another ASI and four women cops facing accusations in the case.
KOCHI: Leeba Ratheesh, the victim in the alleged Cheranellor custodial torture case, has identified six accused cops during an identification parade held at the North Police station.
Leeba has identified former Cheranellor sub-inspector E. S. Samson, another ASI and four women cops facing accusations in the case. Leeba (32), a native of Mathripally in Cheranellor, was taken into police custody on August 31 last based on a complaint in connection with a theft case. She later alleged that she was tortured by nearly 10 cops in police custody.
