Google just recently released the Android Lollipop 5.0.1 software update for Nexus tabs and smartphones. Surprisingly, the Nexus 7 tablet (2012 Wi-Fi version), which did not even receive the Android 5.0.1 update, has already received the Android Lollipop 5.0.2 software update.
The new LRX22G firmware is available for download from Google’s Nexus factory image. There is no official upgrade log, however, presumably the new update addressed minor bugs in the Android 5.0 software.
You may download the image and flash it manually or, since the manual flashing will wipe off your stored data, it is highly advisable to backup the data. To avoid losing on data while manually flashing, you may want to wait for the OTA update to arrive on your device automatically.
