Adilabad: Inspecting the construction works of Singareni Thermal Power Plant at Pegadapalli village in Jaipur mandal, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao assured the evictees that they would be given the best rehabilitation package. During his visit, he also interacted with those whose lands were acquired for the project.He asked the NPDCL officials whether they were satisfied with the ongoing works of the power plant, which is the first project of Singareni Collieries Company Limited in the state. Mr Rao also held a review meeting with the top officials of the NPDCL, Telangana Transco to discuss on the construction works. After the meeting, the CM conducted an aerial survey of the plant. The power problems faced by the people in the state will be resolved soon, he said.
