The PM nominated 9 persons and organisations to carry forward his Swachh Bharat campaign

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday nominated nine persons and organisations to carry forward his Swachh Bharat campaign.
Prominent among those nominated by the PM during his visit to Varanasi are social activist Kiran Bedi, cricketer Sourav Ganguly, stand-up comedienne Kapil Sharma, Odissi dancer Sonal Mansingh, Nagaland governor Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Dabbawallas of Mumbai.
Mr Modi began his visit to Varanasi by offering floral tributes to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya on his birth anniversary and went to Assi Ghat to inspect the progress of the cleanliness drive. He lauded the work done by NGOs.
