Shiva was excited about watching the Christmas special programmes on TV
Police said the incident took place at Eliminedu village on Wednesday at around 9.30 pm. The police has booked a case.
Hyderabad: A class III student was electrocuted while he was plugging a TV to the electric socket in his house at Ibrahimpatnam. His body came in contact with the electric cable and he died on the spot. The victim, identified as S. Shiva Sena Reddy, 9, was the son of Prabhakar Reddy.
Police said the incident took place at Eliminedu village on Wednesday at around 9.30 pm. “His mother was present when the accident happened. He was electrocuted while he was plugging in the cable. Everything was over in seconds. She could not help him,” the police said. Shiva Sena Reddy was a student of Pratibha Grammar School in Ibrahimpatnam.
He was excited about watching the Christmas special programmes on TV. The police has booked a case.
