BJP parliamentary board, on Wednesday, discussed the results in J&K and Jharkhand

New Delhi: A two-member team led by Union minister Arun Jaitley will hold consultations with the BJP's newly-elected MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir on the possibility of forming a government in the state. BJP president Amit Shah has already said the party is keeping all its options open in the state, where it has emerged as the second largest political outfit.

The BJP parliamentary board, that met on Wednesday, discussed the results in J&K and Jharkhand. Mr Jaitley and national secretary Arun Singh will go as observers to J&K, while Union health minister J.P. Nadda and party vice-president Vinay Sahasrabuddhe will go to Jharkhand.

The board's meeting started on a sombre note by observing a two-minute silence in memory of those killed in terror attacks in Assam.
