KCBC to intensify anti bar stir
The government has bowed down to the financial clout of the Abkari contractors
Kochi: The prohibition committee of the Kerala Catholic Bishop Council had castigated the state government for the changes in the liquor policy.
Referring to the Congress MLAs endorsing the changes brought by the government, a convention of the KCBC held in Kochi on Tuesday stated that “even if 1,000 MLAs supported the latest decision of the government, a mistake will remain always mistake’.
The government has bowed down to the financial clout of the Abkari contractors, the convention had stated. The convention has also decided to step up the campaign against the new policy of the government in coming days.
