Andhra Pradesh Wakf board decides to lease out properties
The annual rent of these Wakf properties will not be less than Rs 50 crore
Hyderabad: The AP State Wakf Board proposed to lease out its commercial properties to private players on build, operate and transfer basis. This is according to The Wakf Properties Lease Rules, 2013, introduced by the Centre with effect from January 2014.
M.J. Akbar, special officer of the Board said, “We have identified more than half a dozen properties, which are suitable for hospitals, educational institutions and commercial establishments. A project report is submitted to the Telangana state for its approval.” The annual rent of these Wakf properties will not be less than Rs 50 crore.
