New Delhi: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the way in utilisation of social media for reaching out to the masses, the government is planning to hold chats with Union ministers on the Internet. The chats will be live streamed through YouTube and ministers are likely to answer questions of people through social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Sources said that the chats could take place by early next year. Dedicated hashtags will be generated for these events. The initiative was taken after the success of first such chat progra-mme “Talkathon” held during the 45th International Film Festival of India in Goa.
