Hyderabad: Over a bowl of paan ice cream at the Falaknuma Palace on Sunday, Samantha talks to us about her Christmas plans. Though she will be shooting with Allu Arjun for an upcoming Trivikram film, she intends to hang out with her buddies after pack up.

Home in Hyderabad is a posh serviced apartment at a star hotel and Sam says, “I plan to put up a tree, invite my friends over and watch tonnes of Christmas movies with them over dinner.”

So what’s her wishlist from Santa this year? “I would wish for the Christmas of my childhood to be re-created. It was a big thing for me as a kid as I got new clothes, went to church with my family, had the traditional sausage and bacon breakfast, munched on rose cookies...” Sam would even go carol singing.

“I was always part of a big group because I didn’t want people to hear my voice,” she says, adding that Silent Night is her favourite carol. Another festive memory she holds dear is her first dance. “The first time I was asked by a boy for a dance was when I was 16 at an X’mas party. I was very excited.”
