Vishwa Hindu Parishad vows to ‘restore’ Hindu values
Mr Modi’s silence over the issue
New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad stirred up another controversy on Sunday by saying that they would restore Hindu values in the country, but also added that have never wanted to convert the world but only to “win over its heart”.
Speaking at a book launch, VHP patron Ashok Singhal said it was due to their “struggle” in the last 50 years that Hindus have “regained” the lost “empire” of Delhi after 800 years.
Reacting to the comments Congress leaders said that RSS is trying to “Pakistanise” India and also questioned Mr Modi’s silence over the issue.
