This could be the third collaboration between Shahid and Vishal
Mumbai: Kaminey and Haider proved to be a the successful venture for director-actor duo Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor. In fact, it was 'Kaminey' which broke Shahid's 'chocolate boy' image and put him in a different tab altogether. So it is quite expected that his association with Bhardwaj is something to look out for.
According to Hindustan Times the actor will be once again collaborating with director Vishal Bhardwaj. The actor-director duo are said to be teaming up for 'another dark and edgy movie' according to the report.
While Haider is the Indian adaptation of the famous Shakespearean play Hamlet, Kaminey tasted critical acclaim and audience appreciation. "I've been chasing Vishal sir for his next. I'm sure we'll do something next year. We're already talking about it." Shahid was quoted in the report.
Earlier reports have done the rounds that Shahid will be doing a sequel to Kaminey. The details of the project was not revealed but the actor went on to say, " Well, it's Vishal Bhardwaj; it's definetly not going to be what you expect it to be. It will be certainly something out of the box." exclaimed Shahid.
